P J Murphy Group has an extensive plant and transport holding operated and maintained by directly employed and dedicated team members.
Caterpillar hydraulic excavators, D6 bulldozers and 953 tracked shovels form the backbone of the equipment for hire, all supported by a fleet of Volvo A30 articulated dump trucks.
All the plant is available for hire with our highly skilled and experienced CPCS qualified operators or on a self-drive basis.
The fleet is maintained by in-house mobile and depot-based fitters to ensure maximum efficiency and full compliance with legislation. Most equipment is fitted with machine control.
All our plant can be delivered promptly by our own transport fleet. We offer a STGO category 3 low loader service, rated at 150 tonnes, which is also available for the transport of customers’ own plant.
We carry a full range of ancillary plant including water and dust control equipment, temporary fencing and specialist excavator attachments.
In addition to our extensive fleet of road going tippers we offer vacuum road brushes and general transport.
